Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ

Provincial Superior

Born on March 22, 1977, in Quezon City, Philippines, he entered the Fr. Hannibal Formation Center on May 19, 1993. After his philosophical studies, he entered the novitiate on May 30, 1997. He professed the religious vows a year after, on June 1, 1998. He perpetually professed the vows on June 1, 2004.

After his theological studies at the Don Bosco Center of Studies in 2005, he was ordained to priesthood on January 21, 2006, at the Conversion of St. Paul the Apostles Parish, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, by Most. Rev. Ernesto Salgado, DD.

After a brief pastoral work at the Our Lady of the Pillar Parish, he became a collaborator at the St. Hannibal Empowerment Center in 2006. He worked with the poor in Pasay and Malibay. He became a Licensed Social Worker in 2008. During the 2nd Provincial Chapter of the St. Matthew Province, 2018, he was elected as the Provincial Superior.

At the 3rd St. Matthew Provincial Chapter in October 2022, he was re-elected as a Provincial Superior.

Fr. John Joffer Lucas, RCJ

Vicar Provincial - Councilor on the Parishes, Laity and Youth Ministry

He was born on November 24, 1968, in Laoag City. On May 11, 1985, he entered the Fr. Hannibal Formation Center, entered the novitiate on June 1, 1988, and professed religious vows a year after. He finished his philosophical studies in 1990 and theological studies at the Don Bosco Center of Studies in 1998. He was ordained priest by Most. Rev. Sergio Utleg, DD, at the Cathedral of St. William, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, on May 23, 1998. He obtained his Licentiate in Sacred Scriptures in 2003 from the Pontifical Biblical Institute.

He mainly served in the area of formation in the Philippines and for some time in India, collaborating as a formator and treasurer. In 2007, he was appointed Secretary of the Delegation and was elected Delegation Councilor on the Sector of the Rogate, Laity, Youth, Parishes, and Vocations in 2010. In 2014 He was elected as Provincial Councilor taking the same Sector.

At the 3rd St. Matthew Provincial Chapter, October 2022, he was elected Provincial Vicar and Councilor on the Sector on Parishes, Laity, and Youth Ministry.

Fr. Jessie Martirizar, RCJ

Councilor on the Rogate

Born on December 24, 1965, at Zarraga, Iloilo, he entered the Fr. Hannibal Formation Center on May 23, 1983. After finishing his philosophy studies, he entered the novitiate on June 1, 1987, and a year later, professed the vows. On June 1, 1993, he made his perpetual profession. He completed his theological studies at the Pontificia Università Lateranense in the same year. He finished his Licentiate in Youth Ministry and Catechetics at the Università Pontificia Salesiana in 1996 and was ordained to the priesthood by Most. Rev. Juan Nilmar, DD, on October 26, 1996, at the Parish Church of St. Isidore in his hometown.

He mostly spent his ministry in the field of formation both in the Philippines and for some time in India. In 1999 he was elected Delegation Councilor on Religious Life, Permanent Formation, and Government while appointed Delegation Secretary. In 2007 he was elected Delegation Vicar and Councilor on the Sector on the Rogate, Lay, Youth, and Missions.

At the 3rd St. Matthew Provincial Chapter in October 2022, he was elected as a Councilor on the Sector on the Rogate.

Fr. Ronaldo Paulino, RCJ

Councilor for Religious Life, Formation and Vocation Ministry

He was born on October 27, 1977, in Camarines Norte. He entered the Fr. Hannibal Formation Center on May 20, 1994, and finished his philosophy in 1998. On June 1, 1998, he entered the novitiate and professed the vows a year later. June 1, 2006, he made his perpetual profession. He finished his theological studies at the Don Bosco Center of Studies in 2006 and was ordained a priest on May 19, 2007, at the Parish of St. Gregory the Great Cathedral Church in Legazpi City, Albay, by the Most. Rev. Jose Sorra, DD.

After his ordination, he mostly worked in the formation of seminarians in Cebu. He obtained Masteral in Educational Management in 2014 and took up a Masters in Pastoral Counseling at Loyola University Chicago. In 2019, after finishing his studies and pastoral work there, he continued his work in formation in the SMP.

At the 3rd St. Matthew Provincial Chapter in October 2022, he was elected as a Councilor in the Sector of Religious Life, Formation, and Vocation Ministry.

Fr. Ronaldo Masilang, RCJ

Councilor for the Service of Charity and Mission

Born in Manila on November 21, 1972, he entered the Fr. Hannibal Formation Center on May 14, 1990, and finished philosophy in 1994. He entered the novitiate on June 1, 1994, and professed the vows a year after. On June 1, 2001, he perpetually professed the vows. On November 23, 2002, he was ordained priest at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish, Multinational Village, Paranaque, by the Most. Rev. Angel Lagdameo, DD. He finished his Bachelor’s in Theology with a Master of Arts in Theology at the Don Bosco Center of Studies in 2008.

He worked in the field of formation after his ordination, then later as an educator in the Boy’s Village. He finished his Licentiate in Dogmatic Theology at the Gregorian Pontifical University in 2010, after which he resumed his formative and educative work in SMP.

At the 3rd St. Matthew Provincial Chapter in October 2022, he was elected as a Councilor on the Sector on the Service of Charity and Missions.

Fr. Alfonso Flores, RCJ

Provincial Treasurer

He was born on October 26, 1965, in Manila. On May 22, 1982, he entered the Fr. Hannibal Formation Center, entered the novitiate on June 1, 1984, and professed the vows a year after. He made his perpetual profession on June 1, 1992.

He completed his philosophy in 1987 and theological studies at the Don Bosco Center of Studies in 1993. He obtained his Licentiate in Moral Theology from the Accademia Alfonsiana in 1995 and was ordained priest on December 16 at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish. Multinational Village, Paranaque City by the Most. Rev. Nestor Carino, DD.

He initially spent his ministry at the Boys Village in Silang, then worked in the parish and the formation of the theology students later. After that, he spent his pastoral ministry in the parish. In 2004 he was appointed Delegation Councilor in the Sector of Vocational Promotion, Basic Formation, Studies, and Permanent Formation. 2018 he was elected Provincial Councilor on the Sector on Parishes, Laity, and Youth Ministry.

At the 3rd St. Matthew Provincial Chapter in October 2022, he was elected Provincial Treasurer.

Bro. Christian Allan De Sagun, RCJ

Provincial Secretary

Born on October 18, 1978, in Mendez, Cavite, he entered the Fr. Hannibal Formation Center on May 16, 1997. In 2001, he finished his philosophical studies and entered the Novitiate on June 1. A year after, he professed the vows. June 1, 2009, he perpetually professed the vows.

He earned a Teacher’s Certificate Program from the University of Sto. Tomas, and became a Licensed Teacher in 2006. In 2014, he finished the Corso Annuale di Archivista program at the Vatican. He is presently a candidate for a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of the Philippines – Diliman.

He worked as a collaborator in the Rogationist Senior Seminary program before going on a mission at the Sideia Mission Center in Papua New Guinea. From there, he worked at the General Curia. In 2014, he was appointed Provincial Secretary and Archivist, a service he was re-appointed to in 2018 and 2022.
